Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily bank reconciliations, processing payments & receipts
  • Monthly Management accounts, budgets, forecasts, cost reports
  • Payroll, HMRC verifications, VAT returns
  • Leading a team of 2 responsible for purchase and sales ledger
  • Nominal postings, credit card journals, pension & insurance admin
  • Credit control, cash flow forecasting

Key Skills:

  • Proven Management Accounting experience (Qualified, Part-Qualified or Qualified by experience)
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Familiarity with accounting software (Integrity, Xero, Sage, etc.)
  • A proactive, self-sufficient approach with strong communication skills

Salary (Rate): £60,000 yearly

Are you a hands-on Management Accountant / Financial Controller looking for a varied and rewarding short-term opportunity? Our client is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to provide cover during a project secondment. You will step into a broad all-round role—handling everything from leading a small team covering bank reconciliations and payroll, to process improvement and business partnering.

Key Responsibilities:
