Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and group consolidation of monthly management accounts
- Ensure all journals, accruals, and reconciliations are completed accurately and on time
- Maintain the fixed asset register
- Perform detailed variance analysis, providing commentary on key metrics
- Maintain intercompany balance sheet reconciliations and monitor intercompany trading
- Prepare VAT returns and reconcile VAT accounts
- Support payroll postings, pensions uploads, and payroll reconciliations
- Support the annual budgeting and rolling forecasting process
- Identify and implement process and reporting improvements
Key Skills:
- Strong Excel and system skills, with experience using recognised accounting software
- Previous experience in a similar management accounting or financial reporting role
- Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Experience with group consolidation preferred
- Good understanding of IFRS and financial controls
