Summary: An experienced Management Accountant is sought to join a dynamic finance team near Crawley, offering a salary between £55,000 and £60,000 plus car allowance and bonus. The role involves supporting the Financial Controller and CFO with month-end close, group consolidation, and management reporting, while ensuring accuracy and compliance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation and group consolidation of monthly management accounts
  • Ensure all journals, accruals, and reconciliations are completed accurately and on time
  • Maintain the fixed asset register
  • Perform detailed variance analysis, providing commentary on key metrics
  • Maintain intercompany balance sheet reconciliations and monitor intercompany trading
  • Prepare VAT returns and reconcile VAT accounts
  • Support payroll postings, pensions uploads, and payroll reconciliations
  • Support the annual budgeting and rolling forecasting process
  • Identify and implement process and reporting improvements

Key Skills:

  • Strong Excel and system skills, with experience using recognised accounting software
  • Previous experience in a similar management accounting or financial reporting role
  • Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Experience with group consolidation preferred
  • Good understanding of IFRS and financial controls
