Key Responsibilities:
- Own and deliver month-end close activities to agreed deadlines
- Prepare and post journals, including supporting schedules and reconciliations
- Ensure financial information is accurate, complete, and appropriately evidenced
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cashflow reporting
- Partnering with heads of department to improve reporting and decision-making
Key Skills:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a Management Accountant (or similar) role, ideally in a fast-paced environment
- Strong month-end close capability including journals, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Solid working knowledge of accruals and prepayments
- Proven management accounting experience in a commercial, hands-on role
- Strong Excel and the confidence to work with senior stakeholders
- SUN experience would be a plus

My client, an award winning professional services firm in the City of London are looking for an Interim Management Accountant to join on a 6-month fixed-term contract, starting immediately.
You'll play a key role in ensuring an accurate and timely month-end close, with particular focus on prepayments and accruals , and oversight of IT spend versus budgets.
