Summary: The Original Factory Shop is seeking a Management Accountant to cover maternity leave within their Finance team. The role involves managing P&L and Balance Sheet responsibilities, preparing reports, and supporting year-end audits. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills and be well-organized to handle various tasks efficiently. This position offers hybrid working arrangements and various employee benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- P&L and Balance Sheet responsibility including analysis, journals, and reconciliations
- Drafting and collation of Monthly Board Pack
- Forecasting and reporting on bespoke reports
- Support in the preparation of year-end reporting and audit schedules
- Analysis and reconciliation of store tender and sales receipts
- Cashbook postings
- Assisting with year-end audit deliverables
- Identify process issues and ensure they are resolved with the relevant internal/external stakeholders
- Assisting with certain overhead lines in the annual P&L forecast
- Other ad hoc finance department requests as required
Key Skills:
- Strong core accounting skills
- Strong Excel skills desirable
- Experience of Sage 200 Accounting package useful but not essential
- Well-organised, able to deal with a variety of issues at the same time
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
