Summary: The Management Accountant role is a 12-month fixed-term contract within an international Professional Services firm located in Berkhamsted. The position involves month-end accounting tasks, including the production of management accounts and support for audit processes. The ideal candidate should be part-qualified or QBE with a strong background in management accounting. Key Responsibilities:
- Produce full pack management accounts
- Adhoc project work to support the accounts function
- Production of gross margin reports
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
- Analyse travel expenses and calculate PSA liability
- Prepare accruals, prepayments, VAT, statutory reports
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting
- Bank reconciliations
- Assist with any internal and external audits
- Provide monthly financial reports to leadership team and business units
Key Skills:
- Part-qualified/QBE
- Strong Excel (competent to an intermediate/advanced level)
- Proven track record within a similar Management Accountant position
