Summary: The Management Accountant role in Conwy offers an opportunity to join a dynamic Finance Team, contributing to financial sustainability and strategic decision-making for a multi-million operation. The position involves acting as a Finance Business Partner, managing financial performance, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The role requires collaboration with senior stakeholders and operational teams to enhance financial awareness and control. This is a full-time, hybrid position on a 12-month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, develop and analyse financial data to inform business planning and operational decisions
- Support the delivery of accurate, timely management accounts and financial reports
- Work collaboratively with operational teams to improve financial awareness and control
- Assist in the financial planning of development projects and new initiatives
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, financial rules and funding covenants
- Prepare reports for review by senior finance leadership
Key Skills:
- Experience in a similar finance or accounting role, ideally within a complex organisation
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Comfortable working with budgets, forecasts and financial models
- Capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels
- A positive, proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement
- AAT-qualified, studying (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or Qualified by Experience will be considered
