Summary: The Management Accountant role is a 6-month fixed-term contract within a specialist banking institution in Central London, focusing on the delivery of financial reporting and analysis. Key Responsibilities:
- Ownership and delivery of the month-end close process
- Preparation and analysis of monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) reports
- Production of financial forecasts and variance analysis
- Balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations
- Preparation of management accounts and supporting schedules
- Investigation and resolution of accounting discrepancies
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Assist with regulatory and financial reporting requirements
- Partner with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business to provide financial insight and analysis
- Support process improvement initiatives within the finance function
Key Skills:
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Immediately available to start employment or on a short notice period
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant role within banking
- Strong understanding of month-end accounting processes and financial reporting
- Proven experience preparing P&L reports, forecasts, and reconciliations
- Advanced Excel skills

A specialist banking institution with a strong presence in the UK lending and treasury markets is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join its finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
The bank specialises in Buy-to-Let lending, residential mortgages, and treasury services, providing innovative financial solutions to customers across the UK. This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing finance function during a busy period of growth and change.
Accepted Candidates must be a Fully Qualified Accountant and immediately available to start the contract or on a short notice period (max 2 weeks). You must also have relevant experience within the banking sector.
