Summary: The Management Accountant role at Zenith involves supporting the Finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with potential for extension or permanence. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide proactive management accounting and reporting for the Corporate/Consumer division, ensuring monthly accounts are accurate and delivered on time.
- Lead on implementing strong processes and controls as part of the Velocity Transformation Programme.
- Reconcile and review all balance sheet accounts regularly, resolving reconciling items and highlighting risks or opportunities.
- Liaise with external auditors during annual audits, providing analysis and explanations as required.
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and automate processes.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes where required.
- Engage with colleagues across functions to build strong networks and promote collaboration.
Key Skills:
- Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a finance role, ideally within a multi-divisional group structure.
- Strong technical accounting skills and high level of numeracy.
- Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, formulae) and ability to work with large data sets from multiple systems.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively under pressure.
- Adaptability to change and willingness to embrace new processes and ideas.

In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting the Management Accounting team with the Velocity Transformation Programme, implementing robust processes and controls, and delivering accurate, timely reporting for our Corporate/Consumer division. You'll be joining a collaborative Finance team that values continuous improvement, innovation, and professional development. Working closely with colleagues across the business, you'll help embed new finance processes and systems, while supporting the development of junior team members and acting as an ambassador for the wider Finance function.
