Summary: The Management Accountant role is a 6-month contract position based in Arbroath, focused on operational finance within a global manufacturing business. The successful candidate will take over responsibilities during a system implementation, engaging closely with operational teams to manage reporting, analysis, and costing. This hands-on role requires immediate availability and a strong background in management accounting within a manufacturing context.
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing management accounts and key site reporting
- Delivering variance analysis including SCV and PPV
- Supporting operational decision making through insight and analysis
- Partnering with manufacturing teams to understand cost drivers
- Leading on product costing (BOM, routing, purchase price)
- Balance sheet reconciliations and GL review
- Working with SAP data and building out meaningful reporting in Excel
Key Skills:
- Proven management accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong costing and variance analysis background
- Confident working closely with non finance stakeholders
- Strong Excel skills and SAP experience
- Available to start quickly and happy to be onsite full time

Management Accountant (6 month contract) Arbroath | Full time onsite | Start ASAP
We're supporting a global manufacturing business in Arbroath to recruit an experienced Management Accountant on a 6 month contract. This role is a backfill while the current postholder supports aa system implementation, so you'll step straight into a hands on, operationally focused finance role. You'll work closely with the site operational teams, taking ownership of reporting, analysis and costing in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Be Doing
