Summary: The Management Accountant role is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in London, focusing on performance analysis, reporting, and decision support within a global gaming organization. The position requires the preparation of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations, along with providing analytical support for key business decisions. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, requiring two days per week in the office. Candidates should be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with strong Excel skills and experience in financial insight delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery
  • Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations with prompt investigation and resolution of reconciling items
  • Preparation of quarterly regulatory/duty returns
  • Deliver clear, insightful variance analysis (vs budget, forecast and prior year) to explain performance drivers
  • Support the annual budgeting process (creation, review and system upload)
  • Assist with interim and year-end audit requirements
  • Provide analytical support on key business decisions and ad-hoc projects
  • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across the business
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across reporting and finance processes

Key Skills:

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
  • Experience in planning, forecasting and delivering meaningful financial insight
  • Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables etc.)
  • Comfortable managing and analysing large data sets
  • Confident presenting financial information clearly to stakeholders
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and able to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • UK resident

Management Accountant (12 Month Fixed-Term Contract) London (Hybrid – 2 days per week in office) Global Business | Gaming Sector £55,000 to £60,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Benefits (bonus, private medical etc) I’m currently partnering with a global organisation within the gaming sector to recruit a Management Accountant into their London-based finance team on a fixed-term contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, data-driven business where finance plays a key role in performance analysis, reporting and decision support.
