Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will develop and execute PPM schedules to enhance equipment reliability, manage the Permit to Work system for high-risk tasks, and supervise contractors to uphold stringent safety and compliance standards under PUWER, LOLER and COSHH.
Leading a small team of maintenance and workshop professionals, you will foster a safety-first culture while managing an engineering workshop to produce jigs, tools, and fixtures for production. You will respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and act as a trusted keyholder with occasional out-of-hours responsibilities for emergency site access.
