Summary: The Maintenance Manager - Fire Safety role involves overseeing fire safety works across various localities for a 9-month fixed-term contract. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee team delivery and manage Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) actions and improvement projects.
- Ensure project timelines, quality standards, and health & safety compliance are met.
- Allocate FRA actions to appropriate contractors and manage them through to certified completion.
- Engage daily with contractors and colleagues to ensure smooth delivery and customer communication.
- Support the Director of Operations in managing repair demand, packaging work, and mobilizing subcontractors.
- Maintain financial control, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with business outcomes.
- Oversee receipt of External Wall Surveys (EWS), working with consultants and fire safety leads to procure and appoint contractors.
- Act as client contract administrator for EWS projects, managing communication, addressing complaints, and ensuring timely, budgeted, high-quality delivery.

A strong negotiator with experience in contractor and warranty negotiations, including assessing contractual recourse and evaluating cost-effective resolutions to defects. Demonstrates excellent communication, risk management, and decision-making skills, including the ability to advise senior leadership and boards. Recognised for integrity, leadership, and the ability to plan, oversee, and deliver complex projects. A committed, enthusiastic, and adaptable team player with a high level of initiative and dedication to achieving successful project outcomes. Able to attend sites across a wide geography and external meetings, and attend meetings out of office hours. Undertake other duties as may reasonably be required.
