Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional engineering services focused on the assurance, maintenance, and operational readiness of offshore cranes and lifting appliances.
  • Advise on inspection and certification strategies for cranes and lifting appliances in line with regulatory and client standards.
  • Engage with third-party vendors and inspection bodies as an independent technical authority.
  • Support risk assessments, HAZOP/HAZID reviews, and offshore readiness processes.
  • Review technical documentation and inspection reports submitted by subcontractors and vendors.
  • Participate in planning sessions, offshore surveys, and functional testing as per project requirements.
  • Offer independent input into maintenance strategies, technical responses, and vendor evaluations.
  • Produce workpacks, technical reports, and inspection documentation to support lifting equipment integrity and compliance.
  • Develop and submit maintenance planning documentation, including job cards and campaign schedules.
  • Prepare and review procurement requisitions, equipment specifications, and vendor scopes.
  • Compile condition assessments and spares lists, including updates to asset registers.
  • Deliver site survey reports, functional test witness documentation, and change control records.
  • Provide progress and cost-tracking reports related to lifting equipment activities.
