- Support a culture of Continuous Improvement by addressing persistent problems.
- Carry out routine Planned Preventative Maintenance.
- Accurately record all maintenance tasks performed on an electronic reporting system.
Key Skills:
- Formal Engineering Qualification: C and G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or Apprenticeship trained.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong understanding of good engineering standards.
- Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or production environments.

Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products thats quality is recognised as second to none. With a strong order book and due to growth into various export markets they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team.
Role And Responsibilities
- Respond to machine breakdowns with a view to minimising downtime and improving long term machine reliability
- Execution of the Lead/Senior Maintenance Engineers plan to work preventatively in addition to reactively
- Use of appropriate root cause analysis tools and 5S
- Actively support a culture of Continuous Improvement, looking at ways to engineer out persistent problems
- Carry out routine Planned Preventative Maintenance
- Accurately record all maintenance tasks performed on an electronic reporting system
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
