Maintenance Engineer

Overview

You'll be part of a skilled maintenance team responsible for ensuring high-volume machinery and systems operate reliably and safely.

Ongoing technical training is provided, including development on major PLC and robotics platforms.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Working as part of a high-performing maintenance team to deliver safe, efficient production output
  • Ensuring maximum equipment uptime across automated and robotic systems
  • Maintaining, diagnosing, and improving complex manufacturing technologies
  • Conducting machinery audits and ensuring equipment meets electrical and safety standards
  • Performing Preventative Maintenance (PM) to an exceptional standard and documenting improvement opportunities
  • Supporting major breakdowns while independently managing smaller tasks and line monitoring
  • Contributing to automation and equipment improvement projects
  • Promoting and maintaining safe working practices across the production environment

What You'll Need:

  • A relevant formal qualification: Indentured apprenticeship, or Level 3 BTEC (or equivalent) in mechanical/electrical maintenance or engineering
  • Ideally have previous experience maintaining machinery in an automotive, production, or automated environment
  • Strong skills in either Mechanical, Electrical, or Pneumatics maintenance
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider maintenance team
