Key Responsibilities:

• Planned and preventative electrical maintenance.
• Diagnosing and replacing failed domestic electrical components.
• Responding to breakdowns and ensuring compliance with Safe System of Work.
• Fault-finding and problem-solving on domestic electrical systems.
• Undertaking electrical installation activities in accordance with design and IET Wiring Regulations.
• Testing and inspecting electrical installations per current IEE wiring regulations.
• Monitoring and ordering critical spares for electrical services.

Key Skills:

• Technical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds 2365 parts 1-3, BTEC, NVQ level 2 or above).
• Knowledge of BS7671 IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition).
• Prison Security Clearance (support provided).
• Experience in electrical maintenance, distribution, installation, and testing.
• Knowledge of Electrical Systems and Electricity at Work Regulations.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Independent working and initiative.
• Valid passport or Full Birth Certificate & Photo Driving Licence.
