Key Responsibilities:
- Tool Engineering: Support the setup, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of tooling; assist in resolving issues with bespoke tools.
- Automation: Assist in validating, testing, and integrating NC programs; work with cross-functional teams to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
- Maintenance Support: Provide diagnostic feedback, help create technical specifications, and support analysis of equipment obsolescence.
- TPM Engagement: Contribute actively to Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) meetings and improvement initiatives.
Key Skills:
- NC programming knowledge, including Fanuc and Siemens systems
- HNC qualification or 10+ years' experience in Jig and Tool Design, Engineering, or Production Maintenance
- Solid understanding of tooling maintenance and lifecycle requirements
- Proficiency in CATIA V5
- Strong IT skills, with the ability to prepare tooling specs and maintenance plans
