Key Responsibilities:

  • Tool Engineering: Support the setup, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of tooling; assist in resolving issues with bespoke tools.
  • Automation: Assist in validating, testing, and integrating NC programs; work with cross-functional teams to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
  • Maintenance Support: Provide diagnostic feedback, help create technical specifications, and support analysis of equipment obsolescence.
  • TPM Engagement: Contribute actively to Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) meetings and improvement initiatives.

Key Skills:

  • NC programming knowledge, including Fanuc and Siemens systems
  • HNC qualification or 10+ years' experience in Jig and Tool Design, Engineering, or Production Maintenance
  • Solid understanding of tooling maintenance and lifecycle requirements
  • Proficiency in CATIA V5
  • Strong IT skills, with the ability to prepare tooling specs and maintenance plans
