Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain service stability and optimisation, support and implement changes, and resolve incidents.
• Provide 24x7 support and identify, review, evaluate, and mitigate potential risks.
• Drive strategy and design across the estate, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver against the technology roadmap.
• Contribute to project delivery, including operational support and out-of-hours deployments.
• Apply site reliability engineering (SRE) principles to enhance system performance and stability.

Key Skills:

• Extensive experience as a Mainframe Engineer with deep technical knowledge of z/OS and z/VM Networking.
• Proficient in managing and troubleshooting z/OS, z/VM, USS, SDSF, and JCL environments.
• Expertise in configuring and maintaining session management products like TPX and CL/Supersession.
• Hands-on experience with network management tools, including IBM NetView.
• Strong track record in delivering projects in complex IT environments.
• Experience in Agile and DevOps environments, proficient in Jira and Confluence.
• Knowledge of ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.
