Summary: This role as a Mainframe Developer focuses on enhancing the Retail banking lending portfolio through collaboration with various internal and external teams. Candidates should have a strong technical background, particularly in credit card systems and mainframe technologies, and be adept at continuous improvement activities. The position requires independent design documentation and production support experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Must have good understanding of Credit Card System.
- WINGSFM/VMX knowledge is appreciated.
- Must have worked / be comfortable in VisionPLUS Online architecture, CICS and dealing (coding, debugging etc.) with online components.
- Must have fair knowledge in CMS module.
- Must have worked / be comfortable on production support activities and all other phases of SDLC.
- Must be able to independently write functional design / technical design documents and come up with high / low level design on own.
- Must possess good communication skills.
Key Skills:
- 5 – 15 Years of Significant software development experience.
- Technical team and stakeholder management, governance, reporting.
- Ability to work autonomously under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Experience of working on global initiatives, engaging with team members and stakeholders in multiple locations.
- Full hands-on engineering skills in VisionPlus coding in technologies - Vision Plus (CMS, FAS, VMx, TRAMS, IAS).
- Mainframe technologies (Cobol, CICS, JCL, IAM, VSAM, EZT, File-Aid/Manager).

The Role
This role is within the Retail banking lending portfolio. The role will involve a large element of liaison with internal engineering teams, DevOps tooling teams, legal, risk management, cyber security and external software providers. This role will suit candidates with a strong technical background who wish to spend their time changing and improving the organization through a series of continuous improvement activities
