Summary: The Mainframe Developer role in Knutsford involves working on a card management system for prepaid cards, focusing on end-to-end solutions using Mainframe technology. Key Responsibilities:
- Installs, maintains, and supports application/source code and its components.
- Detects, diagnoses, and reports problems related to application failures.
- Analyzes and resolves incidents, problems, or known errors in application software.
- Provides technical assistance to programming staff regarding application software performance.
- Creates and maintains documentation for application software support.
- Provides twenty-four-hour support for applications.
Key Skills:
- 7 to 10 years of experience in Mainframe Development and Enhancement.
- Strong technical knowledge in COBOL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, JCL.
- Excellent problem-solving, team, and time management skills.
- Good knowledge in Cards & Payments domain.
- Willingness to work in a support role and rotational shifts (24/7).
- Bonus: Automation experience and knowledge of Incident Management tools like ServiceNow.
