Role; Mainframe CICS Developer

Location: London – Hybrid

Project Type; Inside IR35 Contract

Max Rate: 300 GBP Per Day

Eight years of experience with Mainframe technologies including COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, and VSAM, with proven expertise in batch processing and online transaction processing (OLTP) environments

Solid experience in application support, with a good understanding of Incident and Problem Management processes, along with the ability to contribute to software development and enhancement activities

Familiarity with industry-standard mainframe toolsets, development methodologies, and operational processes

Experience of DevOps and Agile methodology and associated toolsets

A background in solving highly complex, analytical and numerical problems

Experience of implementing programming best practice, especially around scalability, automation, virtualisation, optimisation, availability and performance
