Summary: The Mainframe CICS Developer role is based in London and operates in a hybrid working arrangement. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and support applications using Mainframe technologies including COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, and VSAM.
- Contribute to software development and enhancement activities.
- Manage incidents and problems effectively within application support.
- Implement programming best practices focusing on scalability, automation, and performance.
- Utilize DevOps and Agile methodologies and associated toolsets.
- Analyze and solve complex analytical and numerical problems.
Key Skills:
- Eight years of experience with Mainframe technologies.
- Proven expertise in batch processing and online transaction processing (OLTP).
- Solid understanding of Incident and Problem Management processes.
- Familiarity with industry-standard mainframe toolsets and development methodologies.
- Experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and numerical problem-solving skills.
