Role Description We are recruiting a number of Machinists to be based at our Manufacturing site in Shipley, Bradford. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for utilising machine tools to manufacture high-precision metal components. Day to day, you will be setting and operating machine centres in line with SOPs, setting up sheets, producing and inspecting parts in line with drawing specifications and quality standards. You will also use our in house system to log material movements and orders and ensure that machine efficiency targets are being achieved.
Qualifications & Experience: Proficiency in operating and maintaining CNC machines. Experience in Grinding, Turning or Milling, including Mill Turning. Knowledge of quality systems and procedures. Understanding of safety standards and basic lean principles. Good communication and collaboration skills for working as part of a team. Previous Machining experience is essential, including manufacturing small batch complex components within a similar engineering industry. Relevant qualification in machining, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
