The role involves providing design engineering and operational support to enhance reliability, integrity, and safety while identifying debottlenecking opportunities. The engineer will work closely with operations and maintenance teams to troubleshoot issues and lead facility improvement projects. Preferred qualifications include experience with specific compressor systems and a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for the operation and maintenance of large compressor stations.
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance system reliability, integrity, and safety.
- Lead or support facility improvement projects, including piping modifications, equipment installations, and system upgrades.
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to troubleshoot machinery-related issues.
- Participate in reliability studies and root cause failure analyses.
Key Skills:
- General experience with CAT 3616 drivers and Ariel reciprocating compressors.
- Hands-on experience with facility upgrade projects, including mechanical design and installation.
- Strong understanding of compression systems, rotating equipment, and gas processing operations.
