Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate steel machining equipment.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Process structural steel sections accurately to required specifications.
- Carry out quality checks throughout production.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Work closely with the production team to meet daily targets.
Requirements
- Previous experience operating machinery within the structural steel or steel fabrication industry is essential.
- Experience with steel machining equipment such as drilling, sawing, beam lines, or CNC machinery is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- A reliable work ethic and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
