Key Responsibilities:
- Operating and running machines on-site within the press shop
- Manufacturing components to a high standard
- Interpreting and working with engineering drawings
- Using engineering measuring equipment such as Vernier’s, callipers, or Micrometres
- Maintaining machinery by cleaning and ensuring it is in working order
- Checking and ordering materials needed
- Working with multiple types of metal, including stainless steel and aluminium
- Removing and cleaning finished parts ready for production
- Completing quality control checks
- Maintaining documentation
- Meeting tight deadlines and targets
Key Skills:
- Previous experience of operating Press, Laser, or Brake machines
- Setting experience is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritise work and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to plan and work from own initiative with minimum supervision

They are looking for a Machine Operator to join their existing team on a temporary, ongoing basis.
The Machine Operator Role As a Machine Operator, you will be operating and running machines on-site within the press shop Manufacturing components to a high standard Ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings Using engineering measuring equipment such as Vernier’s, callipers, or Micrometres Maintaining machinery by cleaning it and making sure it is in working order, and checking and ordering materials needed.
