Machine Learning Engineer

We're supporting a well-funded London AI start-up that's building machine learning products to solve complex, real-world problems at scale.

They're entering an exciting growth phase and are looking for an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to help shape the next generation of the platform.

This is an opportunity to join a highly technical team where you'll have genuine ownership over production ML systems, working closely with software engineers, data engineers and product teams to take models from research through to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing, training and deploying machine learning models into production
• Building scalable ML pipelines and improving existing model performance
• Working alongside Data and Software Engineers to integrate models into customer-facing products
• Researching and evaluating new ML techniques where appropriate
• Monitoring model performance and driving continuous improvements
• Contributing to MLOps tooling and deployment processes
• Mentoring engineers and sharing technical knowledge across the team

Essential

• Commercial experience deploying Machine Learning models into production
• Strong Python development skills
• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch or Scikit-learn
• Solid understanding of feature engineering, model evaluation and data preparation
• Experience deploying ML workloads into AWS, Azure or GCP
• Comfortable working across the full ML life cycle
