Summary: The Mac Deployment Engineer role involves hands-on deployment of laptops and desktops, specifically Mac devices, in a corporate environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Unbox, image, and deploy laptops and desktops (Windows 10/11 and Mac).
- Provide deskside support to end users during deployment.
- Assist users with account setup, email configuration, MFA, VPN access, and application installs.
- Offer guidance on basic usage of hardware, Microsoft 365, and standard corporate tools.
- Escalate unresolved technical issues to the appropriate team.
- Ensure devices are compliant with security standards post-deployment.
- Track deployments and update asset management records accurately.
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience deploying Mac devices.
- Previous experience in a hardware refresh or rollout project.
- Familiarity with Autopilot, Intune, SCCM, and Jamf (preferred for Mac).
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, VPN, and endpoint security tools.
- Excellent communication skills and professional customer-facing approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple users and sites.
