Summary: The M365 Support Specialist (3rd Line) role is a 9-month contract position based in Glasgow, focusing on providing advanced IT support for Microsoft technologies within a public sector organization. The successful candidate will join a growing IT support team, leveraging their expertise in M365 applications and related services. This position requires strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to customer service, with a preference for candidates familiar with the Scottish public sector. The role involves a hybrid working arrangement, requiring 1-2 days on-site in Glasgow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 3rd and/or 4th line IT support for Microsoft-based services.
  • Utilize deep expertise in M365 applications, including Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Azure.
  • Collaborate with the IT support team to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Deliver strong internal customer service and problem-solving support.
  • Support the integration of new team members and contribute to team growth.

Key Skills:

  • Extensive IT support experience at the 3rd and/or 4th line.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Technologies and M365 applications.
  • Experience in the Scottish public sector is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
  • Formal IT Support/Microsoft Certification is advantageous but not essential.
