Summary: The M365 Support Specialist (3rd Line) role is a 9-month contract position based in Glasgow, focusing on providing advanced IT support for Microsoft technologies within a public sector organization. The successful candidate will join a growing IT support team, addressing issues related to M365 applications and services. Candidates with experience in the Scottish Public Sector and strong problem-solving skills are preferred. The position requires local candidates due to a hybrid working arrangement with 1-2 days on-site each week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 3rd and/or 4th line IT support for Microsoft-based services.
  • Utilize deep expertise in Microsoft Technologies and M365 applications including M365, Active Directory, Entra, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, MS Office, Intune, MS Teams, and Azure.
  • Assist in the provision of IT support to all Microsoft-based services within the organization.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and deliver excellent internal customer service.
  • Collaborate with the IT support team to enhance service delivery and support processes.

Key Skills:

  • Extensive IT support skills and experience at the 3rd and/or 4th line.
  • Deep expertise with Microsoft Technologies and M365 applications.
  • Previous knowledge and experience in the Scottish Public Sector.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and internal customer service orientation.
  • Formal IT Support/Microsoft Certification is advantageous but not essential.

Salary (Rate): 430
