Location: Hybrid working: 2 days onsite in either Darlington, Coventry, Manchester, Sheffield

We are seeking a Software Developer M365 will to Lead on working with various stakeholders to analyse business requirements, design a solution, build and deploy (including change and release processes, testing and user guidance) SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power Platform business services.
We are seeking a skilled Application Developer with at least one year of commercial experience, proficient in the PowerFX programming language to create complex functions within Power Apps and Power Automate. The ideal candidate will have front-end development skills, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and hands-on experience in developing and managing solutions on SharePoint Online and the Power Platform.

Key accountabilities:

  • Lead and manage small cross-site team of 2 Support Analysts responsible for resolving Share-Point Online and Microsoft Power Platform technical issues
  • Maintain existing SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power Platform solutions, implement strong supporting governance and ensure prompt response to problem resolution
  • Evaluate existing systems, solutions and processes and provide ideas for improvements
  • Author and execute PowerShell scripts that automate routine administrative tasks
  • Ability to self-manage workload and work to deadlines
  • Help mentor and coach members of the team as well as have an aspiration to gain new knowledge and skills, keeping up to date with emerging technologies and the changing landscape

 

Key requirements:

  • Experience using PowerFX programming language create complex functions in Power Apps and Power Automate
  • Knowledge and experience of application development (minimum 1 year commercial experience)
  • Front-end web development skills e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience of developing and managing solutions built using SharePoint Online and Power Platform.
  • Experience in working with M365 (Admin Centre, Teams, Delve and Search)
  • Knowledge and experience of scripting using PowerShell
  • Excellent communication skills with system users and vendors to identify, explain, and resolve complex problems
  • Passion to keep up to date with developments SharePoint Online and Power Platform.

 

Desirable:

  • Knowledge and experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
  • Experience in React, TypeScript or any other front-end tools
  • Experience in involvement in SharePoint migrations
