As a Software Developer M365, this role requires adherence to security policies and best practices within the Technology Directorate.
Proficient in using PowerFX to create complex functions in Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial application development experience
- Front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experienced in developing and managing solutions with SharePoint Online and Power Platform.
- Skilled in working with M365 (Admin Centre, Teams, Delve, and Search).
- Knowledgeable in PowerShell scripting.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with system users and vendors, troubleshooting and explaining complex issues.
- Strong passion for keeping up to date with developments in SharePoint Online and Power Platform.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
- Experience in React, TypeScript, or other front-end tools.
- Experience with SharePoint migrations.
Additional Preferred Experience:
1. SharePoint administration.
2. Service desk support.
3. Advanced Power Platform development and management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Lead collaborative efforts with various stakeholders to analyze business requirements, design solutions, and manage the full lifecycle (including change and release processes, testing, and user guidance) for SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power Platform business services.
- Team Leadership: Oversee a small cross-site team of 2 Support Analysts responsible for resolving technical issues related to SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power Platform.
- System Maintenance and Governance: Manage and maintain existing SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power Platform solutions, implement strong governance practices, and ensure timely problem resolution.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate current systems, solutions, and processes, providing innovative ideas for improvements.
- Scripting and Automation: Develop and execute PowerShell scripts to automate routine administrative tasks.
- Time Management and Mentorship: Self-manage workload and meet deadlines while mentoring team members and continuously seeking to expand technical knowledge, especially regarding emerging technologies.
