Summary: The M365 DevOps Engineer role involves enhancing product delivery in the Public Services sector through the development of an effective M365 DevOps toolchain. The position is temporary, requiring collaboration with business stakeholders to design and implement solutions using the M365 development stack. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the business to scope and design solutions utilizing the M365 development stack from inception to delivery.
- Support the design, development, and delivery of solutions in M365 SharePoint and Power Platform.
- Manage development components to align with business needs around minimum viable product requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and contribute to implementing effective solutions.
- Design secure solutions/services with Embedded security controls to mitigate risks.
- Apply modern standards in your work and guide others in doing the same.
- Review specifications collaboratively to design, code, test, and document programs or scripts of medium-to-high complexity.
- Champion user research by prioritizing and defining approaches to understand user stories and recommending the best tools.
Key Skills:
- M365 Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint Development.
- Programming languages such as Shell Scripting, Python, and JSON.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform/Terragrunt.

Contract Details:
- Contract Type: Temporary.
- Location: South Yorkshire.
- Contract Length: 6 months initially.
- Daily Rate: £500.00 per day, inside IR35 paid to Umbrella.
- Working Pattern: Full Time, Hybrid with 1 day per week on-site minimum.
