Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver multiple M&E projects ranging from £50k to £15m across a live operational estate
- Ensure full compliance with CDM regulations, acting as Principal Contractor where required
- Deliver projects in line with NEC3 contract requirements and agreed programmes
- Provide strong health & safety leadership across site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Drive high standards of quality, ensuring compliance with relevant British Standards and client-specific requirements
- Lead project risk management processes to ensure safe and efficient delivery
- Support the preparation and management of quotations, estimates, and commercial performance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and client-side project teams
- Work closely with design teams to ensure practical, cost-effective and buildable solutions
- Ensure all projects are completed snag-free, with timely delivery of final accounts and O&M documentation
- Mentor and support junior team members and trainees where applicable
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as an M&E Project Manager within construction or building services
- Experience delivering projects within live/occupied environments
- Strong working knowledge of NEC3 contracts
- Solid understanding of health & safety legislation and multi-site project delivery
- Experience producing quotations and estimates
- Ability to understand and align with client operational requirements
- Relevant technical qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent in a mechanical or electrical discipline)
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid as a minimum (JIB/BESA desirable)
- Comfortable using IT systems such as MS Office and QA tools (e.g. Fieldview or similar)
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, self-driven, and solutions-focused mindset

Role Overview
We’re working with a leading engineering and project delivery organisation supporting high-profile industrial sites across the UK. They are looking for an experienced M&E Project Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of concurrent projects across multiple sites in Bristol. This role will see you delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget, while operating as Principal Contractor under CDM regulations.
