Summary: The M&E Compliance Manager role is focused on ensuring statutory compliance for a portfolio of over 3,000 residential dwellings and 500 corporate assets. The position involves managing teams responsible for various compliance activities, including gas servicing, fire safety, and building health and safety. The role also requires the implementation of policies and processes to maintain safety standards for residents and staff. Additionally, the manager will oversee mechanical and electrical servicing contracts to ensure high-quality service delivery and value for money.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure statutory compliance for residential and corporate assets.
- Manage teams undertaking compliance activities such as gas servicing, fire risk assessments, and asbestos management.
- Implement policies and processes across Property Services to meet statutory responsibilities.
- Oversee management of mechanical and electrical servicing and repair contracts.
- Ensure contracts are procured and managed effectively to deliver high service quality.
Key Skills:
- Experience in compliance management within property services.
- Knowledge of gas servicing, fire safety, and health and safety regulations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to implement policies and processes effectively.
- Contract management experience in mechanical and electrical services.
Salary (Rate): £450 daily

Duties
The role will have responsibility for ensuring that the Client meets its statutory compliance duties to its stock of over 3,000 HRA residential dwellings and approximately 500 corporate assets. The post holder will be responsible for management of teams undertaking compliance activities in relation to;
- Gas servicing and repairs
- Fire risk assessments and safety
- Asbestos management
- Water quality
- Building Health and Safety
- Lift servicing and repair
- Mechanical & electrical servicing and repair
The role will also assume responsibility for ensuring policies and processes are in place across Property Services and that they are implemented so that statutory responsibilities are met with the safety of residents, members of the public, staff and our buildings being maintained.
The role will oversee the overall management of all mechanical and electrical servicing and repair contracts, ensuring that contracts are suitably procured and managed, delivering a high service and providing value for money
