Summary: As an M&E Buyer, you will manage the procurement of mechanical and electrical equipment and services within the construction and engineering sectors. Your responsibilities include overseeing purchase orders, handling RFPs and ITTs, and negotiating contracts with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials. The role demands strong organisational skills and experience in technical procurement, particularly with long lead time items. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that procurement processes align with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage procurement of mechanical and electrical equipment and services
  • Oversee purchase orders and handle Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Invitations to Tender (ITTs)
  • Demonstrate experience in technical procurement, particularly for long lead time items
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure timely delivery
