Overview
We are currently supporting a major organisation undergoing a significant M&A and infrastructure transformation programme and are looking for a senior Infrastructure, Cloud & Cyber Lead to provide architecture leadership through separation, integration and transition activities. This is a senior-level role requiring someone who can operate confidently with executives, advisors and private equity stakeholders, while also being comfortable getting into the detail and turning incomplete diligence information into pragmatic, executable technology plans. The successful individual will lead architecture decisions across infrastructure, cloud, cyber, workplace, identity and network environments, with a particular focus on M&A integration, infrastructure separation and Day 1 readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead infrastructure, cloud and cyber architecture across M&A separation and integration programmes.
- Assess existing infrastructure and hosting environments and develop pragmatic target-state strategies.
- Lead infrastructure separation, consolidation and integration activities.
- Define Azure, AWS and/or GCP architecture and migration strategies.
- Develop plans for Day 1 readiness, transitional services and managed-service transition.
- Lead Microsoft 365, identity, workplace and network integration.
- Facilitate architecture decisions across technical and business stakeholders.
- Translate incomplete due-diligence findings into practical designs, roadmaps and executable delivery plans.
- Work closely with executives, advisors and PE stakeholders, providing clear recommendations and communicating complex technical matters at an appropriate level.
- Identify key technology risks, dependencies and opportunities throughout the M&A lifecycle.
- Provide senior technical leadership across infrastructure and transformation workstreams.
- Support the development of transition and operating models where required.
