Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Looker dashboards and data models using LookML.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, efficient data solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define reporting needs and deliver insight-driven dashboards.
  • Optimise performance across Looker reports and data queries.
  • Maintain high standards for data accuracy, integrity, and documentation.
  • Provide guidance and training to internal users on Looker best practices.

Key Skills:

  • 5+ years in data analysis, including 2+ years with Looker or a similar BI platform.
  • Strong SQL and data modelling experience.
  • Understanding of data warehousing technologies (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to present data concepts simply and effectively.
  • High attention to detail and data quality.
  • Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

Contract: £ 500 - £800 per day (Inside IR35)

Location: London (Hybrid)

You’ll be joining a fast-growing financial data technology firm specialising in fixed income analytics. Helping to design, build, and optimise Looker dashboards and data models that deliver actionable insights to clients across global markets. Your impact will transform raw market data into clear, meaningful analytics. You’ll create and maintain Looker dashboards, manage data models, and work closely with product, sales, and engineering teams to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and aligned with business goals. This is a hands-on contract role suited to an experienced BI professional with strong Looker and SQL skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to communicate data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
