Summary: The Logistics Manager role involves overseeing site operations for a high-rise residential project in Royal Tunbridge Wells. The position requires coordination of logistics, including deliveries, waste management, and labor oversight, ensuring smooth and safe site operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage the Delivery Management System (DMS)
- Coordinate all site deliveries and traffic management
- Schedule vehicle movements and oversee gatekeeping
- Manage all waste removal and skip operations
- Enforce clear-up notices with subcontractors
- Ensure a clean, compliant working environment
- Oversee gatemen, marshalls, FLT drivers, general labourers, and trades
- Arrange additional site staff as needed
- Lead daily briefings and toolbox talks
- Maintain photo records and notice logs
- Liaise with QS teams on contra charges
- Attend site meetings and ensure documentation is up to date
- Manage lifting plans and welfare facilities
- Drive logistics strategy and H&S compliance across the board
Key Skills:
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification
- First Aid certification
- CSCS Card
- Strong IT and admin skills
- Proven logistics/site coordination experience on major builds
