Position Overview

This opportunity is for a Logistics Coordinator to support the planning and coordination of transport activities that are critical to project and operational delivery. The Logistics Coordinator will play an important role in helping to achieve timely deliveries, efficient movement of goods, and effective coordination across the supply chain. This position sits within the logistics and supply chain function supporting projects and operations in the oil and gas sector, or a similar industry environment. The role involves coordination across suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to support delivery requirements and operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and oversee logistics activities to support project and operational requirements.

• Arrange and optimise transportation methods to support delivery deadlines and efficient movement of goods.

• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to support the timely delivery of materials and equipment.

• Address logistics issues proactively and resolve operational challenges efficiently.

• Maintain clear communication with relevant teams and provide regular updates on logistics activities.

• Ensure logistics operations align with applicable safety regulations, legal requirements, and industry standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Essential:

  Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.

• Essential:

  Relevant experience in logistics or transportation.

• Essential:

  Previous experience in logistics coordination within the oil and gas industry or a similar sector.

• Essential:

  International freight experience.

• Essential:

  Familiarity with transportation modes, regulations, and shipping procedures relevant to the industry.

• Essential:

  Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

  Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
