Job Description

Design, implement, and maintain logging, monitoring, and inventory management solutions across cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement logging, monitoring, and inventory management solutions across cloud platforms.
• Develop automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Develop scripts and tooling using Python and Shell scripting.
• Support cloud engineering activities across AWS and GCP.
• Drive improvements in cloud observability, monitoring, and operational reporting.
• Manage and optimise containerised workloads as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to enhance cloud governance and operational controls.
• Support initiatives for cloud asset discovery, inventory management, and configuration management.

Essential Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Proven experience delivering logging, monitoring, and inventory management solutions within cloud environments.
• Strong Python development and automation skills.
• Extensive experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong Shell Scripting capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience driving automation initiatives.
• experience working with Kubernetes and/or containerisation technologies.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
