The Role
Locum Senior Information Governance Officer
Duration: Initial 6 months with potential extensions thereafter
Working Pattern: Full Time, Hybrid working – 2 days a week in office
Rate: Up to £35 per hour umbrella
Start: November start date
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
- Proven experience working within Information Governance, ideally within a Public Sector environment
- Strong working knowledge of Data Protection legislation, including UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018
- Experience managing and advising on Freedom of Information (FOI) and Subject Access Request (SAR) processes
- Experience advising on Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and maintaining Records of Processing Activities (ROPA)
- Knowledge of information risk management and governance frameworks
- Ability to provide clear, practical and commercially focused advice to stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage a varied workload independently and effectively
