Summary: The role of Locum Podiatrist involves providing comprehensive medical treatment for foot, ankle, and lower extremity conditions at a satellite clinic in Canary Wharf. The position requires expertise in nail surgery, biomechanical assessments, and advanced treatments, while also managing day-to-day clinic operations and patient care. The successful candidate will work collaboratively to enhance practice growth and patient outcomes. This role is part-time, scheduled for three days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical treatment for foot, ankle, and lower extremity conditions.
- Provide nail surgery.
- Conduct biomechanical assessments and prescribe orthotics.
- Referral for MRI, X-Ray, CT Scan, and blood on site.
- Perform and train in advanced treatments, including MSL Laser, Swift, and Shockwave therapy.
- Work collaboratively to grow the practice and enhance patient care.
- Manage day-to-day operation of the clinic, referrals, staff management, stock management, and patient inquiries.
- Build up patient caseload and follow up appointments.
Key Skills:
- Experience in biomechanics and skin and nail surgery.
- HCPC registered.
- Must have professional insurance.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
