Locum Contracts Lawyer

North West

£50 - £60 per hour DOE

Part Time

Remote/Hybrid Working

A highly reputable Local Authority in the North West is seeking a Part Time Contracts and Procurement Lawyer to join their friendly team for an initial 3 - 6 month period with the strong view for extension.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced lawyer with experience in Contracts to add more variation to their weekly caseload joining a friendly and supportive team on a part-time basis, ideally for 25 hours per week.

Candidates can work on a fully remote basis, but can attend the office if they wish to do so.

Responsibilities for the Contracts Lawyer will include but are not limited to:

  • Routine and complex contract and procurement matters
  • Preparing, negotiating, and advising on all aspects relating to legal projects
  • Advising and negotiating Contractual agreements

Local authority experience is preferable, however our client is willing to consider Contracts Lawyers from other backgrounds with transferable skills.
