Summary: This role is for a full-time Locum Consultant Psychiatrist in Adult inpatient services within an NHS facility in Runcorn. The position involves leading a multidisciplinary team and taking clinical responsibility for patients with mental illness. The role also includes participation in governance activities and medical audits. The contract is temporary, lasting for 3 months, with a focus on day shifts from Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead an MDT of Nurses, Psychologists, Social Workers, OT and Specialty Dr’s
  • Active role in service and development activities
  • Participate in Governance and Service Line meetings
  • Taking clinical responsibility for patients
  • Fulfilling the role of Responsible Clinician
  • Supervising the process of referrals and admissions
  • Take part in medical related audits

Key Skills:

  • GMC with a licence to practise
  • Approved Clinician status
  • Section 12 approval
  • MBSS qualification

Salary (Rate): £120.00/hr

Job Description
