Key Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency medical care to patients at both Poole and Bournemouth hospital sites.
• Assess and manage adults and children with severe life-threatening illnesses or injuries.
• Lead major trauma teams and manage inpatients with head injuries.
• Participate in training and development of junior staff and trainees.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of emergency medicine protocols.

Key Skills:

• Full registration with GMC and relevant medical qualifications (MBBS, FCEM, etc.).
• Experience in emergency medicine at a senior clinical decision-maker level.
• Ability to assess and manage severe life-threatening conditions in both adults and children.
• Instructor status in ATLS, APLS, or ALS is desirable.
