About the Role

We are working in partnership with an NHS service in Salisbury to recruit a Locum Consultant Haematologist to join a well-established and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality haematology care across outpatient, inpatient, and diagnostic services, while supporting service improvement and recovery initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hands-on clinical involvement as a Consultant Haematologist, working closely with other Consultant Haematologists and Associate Specialists and sharing responsibility for all haematology patients.
  • Lab work.
  • MDT Meetings.
  • Oversea and supervise Junior Drs and mentor when required.
  • Transfusion medicine activities including transfusion, team meetings and education sessions for general medical staff.

Registration – Essential

Full GMC registration with Licence to Practise
