Summary: The role of a Band 6 CPN involves providing intensive community-based mental health treatment to working-age adults, focusing on crisis resolution and preventing inpatient admissions. The contract duration is between 3 to 6 months, with potential for extension based on performance. Candidates must possess a valid NMC registration and relevant experience in community mental health care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide intensive treatment as part of the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team.
- Work within a 24/7 rota to meet the needs of individuals in crisis.
- Conduct Mental Health Act Assessments and accept referrals for service users.
- Make autonomous clinical decisions for high-risk populations.
- Plan and deliver care for individuals requiring acute responses.
- Collaborate with doctors, families, and other agencies to manage care effectively.
- Adhere to professional and regulatory standards in clinical practice.
Key Skills:
- Current and valid NMC registration and pin.
- Experience working with working-age adults in the community.
