We are currently seeking an experienced Social Worker to join a busy Children Team based in Ferndown in Dorset. This is a beautiful area close to Bournemouth. Contracts are 3-6 month to start and then reviewed offering high rates at 42ph. Good management structure with regular supervision. Flexible, hybrid working available.

Experienced Qualified Social Workers required for Locality Teams in Dorset. Hybrid working with mix of office, community visits and home working.

The locality teams are area teams that work alongside early help and education workers with children and their families. The locality team social workers undertake child and family assessments, Child in need planning, child protection planning, court work and children in care planning through to permanence.

Our average caseloads are currently 14 -18 children to promote relationship building and restorative practice.

Additional social work posts have been created within this new model to reduce the caseloads for social workers and promote relationship based, restorative and strengths based practice.

You will be Social Work England registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
