Summary: The Load Balancing Engineer role is part of the EMEA Network Engineering team, focusing on the design and implementation of complex technical solutions that align with business strategies. The position involves deploying technical solutions across the EMEA network infrastructure while managing software and hardware life cycles. The role requires a strong background in load balancing technologies, particularly with F5 products. The contract is initially for 12 months and is classified as inside IR35, with a hybrid working arrangement requiring three days in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, engineer, and implement configuration across EMEA network infrastructure.
- Facilitate the deployment of technical solutions in accordance with architectural governance and standards.
- Ensure timely implementation of software and hardware life cycle management.
- Work with F5 DNS (GTM), LTM, APM, ASM, and FIPS modules.
- Manage F5 hardware migration and software upgrade processes.
- Develop and create automation scripts for load balancing solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of experience as a Load Balancing Network Engineer.
- 5+ years of experience working with F5 DNS (GTM).
- Experience with F5 hardware migration and software upgrades.
- Knowledge of multiple F5 modules: LTM, GTM, APM, ASM, SSLO.
- Experience with virtual load balancers and supporting infrastructure.
- Knowledge of FIPS modules.
- Ability to build and configure load balancers to standards.
- Experience with VMware Next Gen Load Balancer (AVI Networks).
- Strong DMZ infrastructure and engineering experience.
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols and security principles.
- Working knowledge of DNS and IP address management.
- Experience in network security and compliance.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex network issues.

Role Overview:
The role is within the EMEA Network Engineering team, working on complex technical designs that enable business strategies in accordance with architectural governance, standards and policies.
This job facilitates the deployment of Technical Solutions by designing, engineering and implementing configuration across EMEA network infrastructure, along with ensuring Software and Hardware Life Cycle management is implemented on time.

- Proven experience (5+ years) of working with F5 DNS(GTM).
