Job Opportunity: Qualified Social Worker - Community Team (Liverpool)
Pay Rate: 43.78PH
Location: Liverpool
We are seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Community Team in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to work with a varied and complex caseload, using a strength-based approach to deliver high-quality care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a complex and varied caseload with appropriate supervision and support.
Conduct strength-based assessments tailored to individuals' needs, ensuring all work aligns with best practices and evidence-based tools.
Undertake mental capacity and best interests assessments, recording findings in line with Mental Capacity legislation.
Lead safeguarding enquiries, ensuring compliance with the Care Act 2014, timely completion, and sharing outcomes with relevant parties.
Participate in the duty system and contribute to team collaboration.
Ensure reports are accurate, high-quality, and submitted within required timescales.
Engage directly with people, carers, and families, addressing safeguarding concerns and supporting positive outcomes.
Communicate effectively in complex or high-risk situations, escalating cases to senior management as necessary.
Requirements:
HCPC registration as a Qualified Social Worker.
Proven experience in managing complex caseloads in a community setting.
Strong knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act, Care Act 2014, and safeguarding procedures.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle high-risk situations.
A car driver is preferred due to the geographical scope of the role.
Additional Details:
Council policy requires working from the office at least three days a week.
